winter, februari-maart, en we hebben de heggenschaar, de kettingzaag en natuurlijk de versnipperaar tevoorschijn gehaald! (Zorg ervoor dat je niet snoeit na 15 maart, zodat de vogels rustig kunnen nestelen)<\/p>\n<p>Alles wat we op het landgoed maaien, wordt versnipperd en gebruikt als natuurlijke mulch voor onze bloembedden en moestuin. Natuurlijke, lokale mulch heeft veel voordelen en is een waardevolle bondgenoot voor het <strong>besparen van tijd en water, het verbeteren van de biodiversiteit in de bodem en het verbeteren van de gezondheid van je planten<\/strong>. Het wordt ook veel gebruikt in permacultuur omdat het planten een volledige cyclus laat doorlopen.<\/p>\n<p>Versnipperen en mulchen is mogelijk voor alle soorten tuinen. We woonden in het centrum van Lille met een tuin van 70 m\u00b2 en een kleine elektrische hakselaar om onze bloembedden te mulchen en alles te gebruiken wat we ter plaatse maaiden.<\/p>\n<p>Onze tips <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/14.0.0\/svg\/1f609.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude09\">:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>we leggen <strong>minimaal 10 cm mulch<\/strong> aan zodat het het hele jaar blijft liggen tot de volgende keer dat we de ondergroei opruimen.<\/li>\n<li>En onze mulch is een mengsel van groen = stikstof (groene bladeren, gemaaid gras) met bruin = koolstof (dode bladeren, takken). Dit maakt het mogelijk om met vrijwel elk type plant te werken en maakt het werk eenvoudiger. Anders is het ideaal groen voor groen, bruin voor bruin, d.w.z. voornamelijk groene bladeren en planten aan de voet van de planten en houtsnippers aan de voet van de
