The large bath is 10m long and 1.60m deep. A shallow section for children and a &#8220;beach&#8221; section for sitting in the sun with your feet in the water will delight young and old alike. It was then developed, abandoned and now restored. Since 2014, it has been open to visitors between mid-May and early October (see rates and dates on their website).<\/p>\n<p>The Colbert kitchen garden is laid out in 14 squares of <strong>vegetable plantations<\/strong> surrounded by 20,000 box trees. Rectangular in shape, planted with <strong>perennials and flowering shrubs<\/strong>, it is bordered by solid period walls. At the rear of the ch\u00e2teau is a pleasant promenade shaded by <strong>lime<\/strong> and <strong>tulip<\/strong> trees.
